For people who believe that we should act
morally and ethically without necessarily
referring to the Bible
:

Those people who see things from a non-
Christian but ethical point of view could use
the
no-harm test in their personal and sexual
relationships with others.

Using this test one asks “Does the proposed
activity between me and another person
cause harm or not?” If harm will be caused,
the activity should not proceed. If there will be
no harm, it is okay to proceed.

More information on the
no-harm test is here.

-----------------------------

An example of no-harm is the three conditions
for S/M activity. These conditions are "safe,
sane, and consensual."

Both parties have to agree voluntarily and
totally. They have to be alert and attentive to
the other person's responses. And there must
be no lasting physical or emotional damage.
